Ever wanted to learn to play the piano?

by Editor on 26 May, 2010

but didn’t know where to start? …
… then start right here…

After passing my Grade 5 Piano with Distinction at the age of 14, my piano teacher decided I needed an extra challenge and set me on the path of tutoring. I began teaching from home and only taught young beginners. However, as my own skills developed so too did my enthusiasm for teaching and by the age of 15 and studying for my own GCSE’s, I had over 20 students on my list.
Private lessons have always been an important part of my teaching as the one-to-one nature of tuition allows the student to have my undivided attention for the duration of the lesson.
As a teacher, I like my students to enjoy what they are doing and have fun. I tailor-make lessons and choices in music in accordance to my students’ preferences. Learning to play the Piano with me doesn’t necessarily have to lead to examinations either. For example, many of my adult students simply choose to learn because they have had a yearning to do so for years and simply want to fulfill a personal ambition.
Whatever your reasons for learning, don’t put it off any longer!
Lesson Prices: £8 for 20 minutes, £10 for 30 minutes & £15 for 40 minutes.
I am also available to play at weddings, functions & private events. Simply
contact me to discuss further.
